Barbara Crentsil holds a BA in Political Science and Africana Studies from Dickinson College. Previously, she served as Parental Outreach Coordinator at New Jersey Law and Education Empowerment Project and as an Urban Education Fellow at Great Oaks Charter School in Newark, New Jersey. Barbara strongly believes that equal education is an issue that requires a passionate and immediate response and sees the work that SEEDS does as instrumental in changing the narrative about underserved youth and their available educational and experiential opportunities. The drive for excellence and higher learning is what drew Barbara to SEEDS and she hopes to contribute greatly to the legacy of the organization.
