Manager, Admissions & Placement
The Manager, Admissions & Placement, in collaboration with the Vice President, Admissions & Placement, will support the growth efforts of both the Admissions and Placement teams for the organization’s three academic programs. This role will serve in an operational and administrative capacity for the team helping to manage processes and systems for the Admissions and Placement teams.

Development Officer, Special Events
The Development Officer for Special Events manages all SEEDS’ fundraising and friend-raising events and focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with donors and prospective donors. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Development, the Development Officer develops and implements a comprehensive events calendar to achieve the annual fundraising goals of SEEDS. Additionally, the Officer manages donor cultivation activities and volunteer groups and assists program staff in creating and executing events that serve as opportunities to engage alumni, volunteers and prospective donors.

SUMMER 2025 OPENINGS:

Student Advisor Summer Internships (only SEEDS alumni/ae should apply)
Student Advisors work closely with students during their summer academic enrichment program (Young Scholars, Scholars, and College Scholars). A Student Advisor’s job is to provide academic and personal support individually and to the entire cohort.

Dean of Student Advisement – College Scholars Program
The Dean of Student Advisement supervises ten Student Advisors, trains them in Leadership Development, manages their schedules, and ensures that they are serving as strong role-models for the Scholars. The Dean works closely with the Dean of Faculty and Dean of Residential Life & Student Affairs to manage Student Advisors’ schedules and workload reporting directly into Programs.

Dean of Residential Life & Student Affairs – College Scholars Program
The Dean of Residential Life & Student Affairs oversees and manages all residential affairs as they relate to the Scholars, including but not limited to dormitory life, meals and recreational activities. The Dean works closely with the Dean of Studies and Dean of Student Advisement to ensure all Scholars are excelling within the program and student concerns are being addressed reporting into Programs.

Dean of Studies – College Scholars Program
The Dean of Studies oversees and manages all academic and related affairs as they relate to teachers and Scholars. The Dean works closely with the Head of School (Programs Officer), Dean of Student Advisement & Residential Life to ensure all College Scholars are meeting the program requirements and student concerns are being addressed.

Academic Instructor – College Scholars Program
We are currently seeking instructors for the following subjects:

  • English – a course focused on writing personal narratives with the goal of completing the personal statement for college admissions. Students will receive skills-based instruction on writing conventions throughout the course.
  • College 201 – a course designed by SEEDS which focuses on college admissions, writing, and the transition to college with a focus on life skills and navigating new environments.
  • Critical Reading Seminar – this seminar-style class teaches students the foundations of close reading, offering them the opportunity to learn and practice critical engagement. Includes the review of literary devices as a reading tool. Use of literary theory at the instructor’s discretion.
  • Topics in History and Culture Seminar – this seminar-style class will model a college-level class and engage with history, popular culture, cultural theory, and the roles that power and privilege have in society. Students will be expected to engage meaningfully and produce an analytical essay at the end of the three-week course.

Humanities Teaching Fellow – College Scholars Program
The SEEDS Teaching Fellow in the Humanities will bring enthusiasm and expertise to a diverse teaching faculty. The Teaching Fellow should be enrolled in or have recently completed a graduate program in the humanities and have some teaching experience. Applicants do not need to have taught high-school students in the past, though work with young people is a plus. Depending on experience, the Teaching Fellow may be given the opportunity to develop a curriculum that reflects their field expertise and serves SEEDS Scholars.
