Young Scholars Program Info Session (RSVP HERE). Join us to learn more about the Young Scholars Program. Students can apply in 4th or 5th grade and must live in Newark, East Orange, Orange, or Irvington.

Navigating Your Application Account (RSVP HERE). Join us for this brief presentation on how to access, set-up, and use your SEEDS application account. This event is meant for families with students applying to the Scholars Program or Young Scholars Program.

Scholars Program Open House (RSVP HERE). Join us as we take a tour through the Scholars Program from the eyes of SEEDS staff and students. This event is meant for families with students in 7th grade.

Demystifying Selective College Admissions (October 9, 2025) (VIEW RECORDING). Join representatives from NYU and Stanford for a candid conversation about what highly selective institutions are looking for, how to stand out in the admissions process, and how to make informed decisions about your college journey. Students and families will have the chance to ask questions and hear directly from admissions professionals at two leading universities. This event is for families with students in 11th grade who are considering applying to the College Scholars Program.

This event is designed for students and families who have been nominated, are considering applying, or are in the process of completing their application.
Panel: Building a Strong College Profile Over the Summer — Featuring Yale University & Davidson College (June 18, 2025) VIEW RECORDING The goal of this event is to help 10th grade students (rising juniors) understand what they can do over the summer to strengthen their college profiles. We hope to provide practical advice on areas such as academic enrichment, extracurricular involvement, leadership development, and meaningful summer activities like internships, volunteer work, or independent projects.
