Earlier this month, SEEDS hosted its “No Room for Error” Conference. It was an opportunity for attendees to discuss the challenges facing low-income students from middle school through mid-career. Following a welcome by Executive Director, John F. Castano, attendees were invited to attend two of four breakout sessions, discussing Self-Advocacy, Cultural Competency, Mentorship and Financial Awareness. The final session was the day was a session on Mental Health led by SEEDS Trustee Polly Palumbo, Ph.D. and Suzanne Farkas, MFA, MSW, LCSW.
