Nina is a passionate advocate for educational equity and access. Originally from Orlando, Florida, she is a first-generation university graduate from an immigrant family and earned her B.A. in International Studies from the University of Central Florida. Prior to joining SEEDS, she worked with the Public Policy team at United Way of Greater Cincinnati, where she advocated on the state and federal levels for the removal of legislative barriers to economic mobility. Additionally, Nina served as a Fulbright Fellow in Brazil, where she taught English and directed an emerging arts program at the Universidade Federal de Lavras.
