Shanté is originally from Georgetown, Guyana but now lives in Newark, NJ. Shanté attended Wesleyan University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology. Prior to SEEDS, she worked at the Wesleyan Student Resource Center to help first years with their transition from high school to College, and she worked on various programs supporting and advocating for Queer and FGLI students of color.
