Ms. Barker is a former chair of the board of trustees of Bowdoin College, a trustee of The Pingry School, and a trustee emerita of Student/Partner Alliance. For ten years she served as a college counselor at the Chad Science Academy. She has been active in numerous charitable causes in New Jersey. Until 1995, Ms. Barker was a Managing Director of Prudential Securities Inc. Ms. Barker received a B.A. cum laude from Bowdoin College and an M.B.A. from Harvard University.
