KYC Analyst, Barclays

Ela is an alumna of the SEEDS College Preparatory Program (the predecessor of the College Scholars Program), Class of 2016. She is a graduate of Villanova University with a BA in Accounting.

After graduating from Villanova, Ela was an Operations Intern for one year at Project Ready, a non-profit, non-partisan grassroots advocacy organization. She then was a consultant from 2021-2024 at StoneTurn where she conducted risk assessments, financial investigations, and forensic audits. Ela joined Barclays in 2024 as a KYC (Know your Customer) Analyst where she leads due diligence reviews, ensuring compliance with internal compliance and regulatory standards and proper risk review.

Ela has been a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) since 2023.
