Congrats SEEDS ’19!

This summer, SEEDS celebrated graduations for all students in academic programming. College Scholars celebrated commencement in June (photos), while Scholars and Young Scholars graduated in August (photos).

On June 8, 40 high school seniors enrolled in SEEDS’ third class of College Scholars celebrated the completion of their 17 months with SEEDS. All students were placed into colleges and universities, receiving more than 130 acceptances from 51 colleges and universities. Ninety-eight percent of graduates enrolled in college this fall; 86% of them are attending institutions ranked Most, Highly or Very Competitive, as ranked by Barron’s. Scholars and Young Scholars graduated from SEEDS on August 3, wrapping up 14 months with the organization. These 107 rising sixth-, seventh- and ninth graders enrolled in 73 schools across 15 states. Ninety-nine percent of graduating Scholars and  Young Scholars were placed into selective middle schools and high schools and will collectively receive more than $4.7 million in financial aid for their first year.
