Each year, SEEDS hosts a College Fair (photos) and Independent School Fair (photos) to help students identify schools they may want to attend.
The 2019 College Fair was held on June 15. College Scholars in the Class of 2020 attended, as did nearly 50 SEEDS graduates and their families. More than 50 schools attended the annual fair. In addition, students and families took part in a number of different workshops, including sessions on financial aid, college essays, testing, and thriving at a PWI.
Meanwhile, Scholars and Young Scholars attend SEEDS’ annual Independent School Fair. This event, held on September 7, is a chance for students and families to meet representatives from day and boarding schools. Representatives from 90 schools attended to meet with more than 330 students and family members. In addition to the fair, attendees listened into a panel discussion on the independent school process and attended sessions on financial aid and presenting your best self.
